Colab Enterprise is a collaborative, managed Jupyter notebook environment that brings Google Colab to Google Cloud with enterprise-grade security and compliance. On Associate Data Practitioner it comes up as an interactive environment used to connect to BigQuery, execute SQL and Python workflows, and visualize analytical insights.

What you can expect on the exam

Querying BigQuery and generating DataFrames. Expect to know how SQL cells in a Colab Enterprise notebook query BigQuery and automatically return results as named BigQuery DataFrames that flow into Python cells.
Visualizing and manipulating analytical data. Be ready to use Python within a Colab Enterprise notebook to manipulate cloud datasets, perform exploratory data analysis, and build charts that communicate insights.
Connecting notebook frontends to runtimes. You may need to understand that a Colab Enterprise notebook serves as the interactive frontend while an attached runtime depends on Compute Engine to execute code cells.
Storing completed notebook run results. Expect to recognize that after Colab Enterprise completes a notebook run, the output results are stored in a Cloud Storage bucket.
Assigning IAM roles for project access. Be ready to identify the necessary IAM roles, including Colab Enterprise User and BigQuery User, required to create and run notebooks in a project.
