What a Dual-Region is

A dual-region is a Google Cloud Storage location type that replicates object data across two specific, user-selected Google Cloud regions located within the same general geographic boundary (such as nam4 for Iowa and South Carolina, or custom dual-region pairings like us-central1 and us-east1). It delivers active-active data access across both locations while managing underlying geo-redundant replication automatically.
